Join us on our journey: To drive a smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Technical Project Manager based in Spain. In this role, you will oversee the technical onboarding and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Renewable Energy Systems (RES) into our trading platform — ensuring seamless connectivity, regulatory compliance, and optimal asset performance.

Language Requirement: Fluent Spanish with strong English proficiency, Portuguese is a plus
Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager, you will:
Be responsible to define the technical setup between the assets and our systems
Manage the onboarding process and oversee end-to-end project planning, technical integration, and go-live of BESS and RES assets into our platform
Guarantee technical compliance with grid regulations and market participation rules in Spain and Portugal, coordinating closely with regulatory bodies
Support our customers and our own required registrations, pre-qualifications, certifications, licenses, acceptance tests necessary for the assets' participation in envisioned energy markets both on the trade as well as on the technical delivery side
Work with cross-functional teams and collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to streamline asset management, data flows, and trading execution
Analyze, plan and develop requirements in reference to scheduled projects aligned with the Business and Product Teams
Your Profile
Mandatory Requirements
A degree or equivalent in Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience in technical project management, energy systems, or BESS integration
Strong understanding of grid regulations, market structures, and the technical requirements for asset integration in Spain and/or Portugal
Proven experience with API integrations and real-time asset control systems
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
Proactive, creative and solution oriented with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a target-oriented approach
Keen to work in a dynamic, small team environment
Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with full business proficiency in English

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Familiarity with data flow optimization and system interoperability in energy markets
